Hello,
I have been a passive member of this great forum for sometime now.I had planned to give my GMAT on May 3rd. I have been preparing on and off for almost 3 months now. ( some professional problems in the second month derailed some of my prep ).
I took my first GMATPrep today. I could feel the quant getting tougher and tougher and I knew I was doing well. In the verbal section, I made only 4 mistakes in the first 20( 7, 10, 18, 20). But and here is the problem - I made 11 mistakes in the remaining 21 questions, 7 of which came in questions 30 to 41. An analysis of the errors shows that i got 7 wrong in SC, 4 in RC and 4 in CR.
In my
MGMAT's(avg 660) and Princeton Reviews(avg 700) I have averaged 36 in verbal.
To improve my verbal
1) I have started doing the SC 1000/CR 1000 / RC 1000.
2) I also plan to buy the
MGMAT SC book.
What else can I do on an everyday basis to improve this score ?
I am going to postpone the test by a couple of more weeks so that I can improve my verbal. I would like an overall score between 700 and 750.
thanks
