No, this isn`t a topic about contraception ;)

How do you withdraw your application from a school?
I withdrew an application.. sent an e-mail to admissions a few days ago, and today, they just rang me an offered me a place with $6k scholarship. I didn`t even have an interview with them!!!!

I think there is no need to withdraw your app. Just let it be. If you get dinged fine but if you are accepted then reject. Now that they have offered you a place, sending a decent rejection mail is fine... just my 2 cents :) by the way your first line was good ;)

yeah, but its unfair on other students who may want to go there. That's why i wanted to withdraw from the school. Maybe they thought they could tempt me?

How do people normally withdraw?

If you wouldnt pick a school over another school you are already admitted to, even with a big scholarship...just email an adcom and inform them that you would like to withdraw your application.

The more interesting, compelling, or humorous you message the more likely I am to respond.
