if u make sure to have ur recommendations done ahead if time, it might be possible. of course, u won't know all of the schools to which u are applying before u get ur gmat score. but, in general, if u get recommendations for one or two schools ahead of time, it shouldn't be that difficult to have ur recommendors move things arround in their letters to fit the requirements of the other schools. doing ur essays for 5 schools in one month is definitely possible, but u really need to be focused and organized. u might consider hiring a consultant to help u with essays or from a pure administrative perspective. email me if u would like some recommendations. applying in round one is best, round two is almost as good as applying in round one. round three is the kiss of death.

it's not recommended you apply in round 3, especially if you are applying to your top five schools.

Well, would it be practical if I aim to complete the application process for 5 schools in two months?

If you have the flexibility, you may be better off applying next year rather than trying to rush out applications for this cycle. Getting through GMAT, TOEFL and 2-5 applications in the next 5 months is a very aggressive timeline.

I was afraid of this :( Thanks for the advice anyway.....
