Distance from origin = sqrt(1^2+2^2) = sqrt(5)
I hope I am right.
I solved it as follows
General equation for circle is
(x-x1)^2 + (y-y1)^2 = r^2
x^2 + y^2 - 2( x * x1 + y * y1) + x1^2 + y1^2 = r^2
comparing this to given equation gives us x1 = 1 and y1 = 2
new quation is
x^2 + y^2 - 2( x + 2y ) + 5 = r^2
Equation of stem can be written as
x^2 + y^2 - 2( x + 2y ) + 5 = 20 + 5
Radius of circle is 5 with center (1,2) and distance between center and the origin is sqrt(5)
