I have heard many good things about Great Lakes, Chennai but couldn't find much information or expertise reviews. How is the PGPM of 1 yr here and is it worth? Any other better one-year programs in India?

There are a lot of resources to figure out the worth of a program. The best way would be to connect to an alum and ask about his/her experiences.
Look through the placement reports to see if the firms that you want to recruit into visit the school.
Finally there are many other good one year programs in India. IIMs, ISB, XLRI, SP JAIN to name a few.
