Hi, guys!

I wonder how good Kaplan 800 is. I tried several CR from that book... they are quite different from original CR questions. The same with SC.

Was Kaplan 800 any helpful to anybody in his or her preparation? Any piece of advice...
Please, share your experience :-D

Any thoughts about this book...

Kaplan verbal in general is representative of the real GMAT. Stick with official materials or Princeton Review, which for me was dead-on in verbal.

IMHO Kaplan 800 is too easy for quant.

Regarding verbal - Kaplan in general has some tough verbal practice, possibly tougher than the real exam. However I don't think that their questions are representative of the verbal section in the real test.

In my experience, solving the entire OG11, the purple book, the green book, plus each GMATPrep test minimum three times, plus a handful of other various CATs was enough practice.

I found Kaplan 800 helpful for verbal. Getting comfortable with the hardest of the hard questions helped me apply the same practices to medium and easier questions as well.

I agree that the Q sections in the book weren't nearly as challenging.
