Hi
AhmadAdil,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Your startups in very different industries sound interesting. I imagine you've gained experience across various functions. If you lack a brand name on your resume, think about other ways you can show some prestige, like important partners or investors, impact created, milestones reached, etc.
To answer your questions...
Having explained my situation, I wish to understand few points:
1. Do companies take a candidate professional experience prior to doing MBA in consideration while offering job ?
Yes, they absolutely do and look for transferable skills from your prior work. At most MBA programs you begin recruiting for internships within a few months of starting, so your pre-MBA work experience is still highly relevant. 2. While seeking a job in Operations role will my experience be helpful or will it pose challenges in seeking a job offer?
Hard for me to say. Probably depends on what kind of Operations role, what industry, etc. I would think that if you can show transferable skills/experiences then it should be helpful. 3. Is there any data based report which you can share that studies students background prior to MBA and job offers they got?
I can't think of a report that shows this precise data. But check with your target schools, as most will produce detailed employment reports and class profile stats. Those will show you the backgrounds prior to MBA and job offers, though they won't necessarily be linked to each other.
Hope that helps!

Hi,
I am planning to go for an MBA in Canada in the year 2022. If everything goes well I will be opting for Operations Management as my field of specialization.
After getting a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering in the year 2012 and a short stint at a software company I went on to start my business. Since then I have been working on my startups. My first startup was in Interior Design and Project Execution. I had to close it in the year 2019 owing to profit margin related issues. In the September 2019 itself I started working on my second startup in healthcare domain. We provide healthcare services to old people in the comfort of their homes. I have played multiple roles at my startups like Operations head and Business development manager. To add I have stayed and worked in India only. I don't have any international work experience.
What I wish to emphasize here is that though I have a strong management experience through managing my startups but I don't have name of any big brand to back my experience.

In addition, please feel free to suggest me few countries where chances of me getting a job would be high.
Thanks in advance.
