...To get your official score report? I'm planning to apply Columbia ED sometime around 8/13 and am considering taking the GMAT around 8/9. I want to know if I should push back my app or use the optional essay to simply explain that I am waiting for the official score. The ideal situation is that I get the official report in a week or less as to not delay anything.
I took my test June 30th and got the Official Score report (via email in .pdf format) 8 days later. The hard copy came in the mail within another couple days. It seems like this fits with at least a few other people know that have taken the GMAT in the last month or two.
Umm..IIRC Columbia doesn't require an "official" report until an offer of admission has been made. I think my report took less than a week to come through.

Agreed. However, if my score improves (which is what I'm hoping for), I will need to provide the percentiles and the AWA scores. The percentiles can change from the unofficial score and the AWA won't be ready until it is graded.
