its 8 minutes but it gives you an extra minute past that to read the directions for the next session... Its a nice chance to get relaxed before the next session.

it is actually 8 + 2. :D

You can cancel both though, if you want to!

1 thing to know which isn’t available online is that, when you return from the break and click to proceed to the section, a screen with instructions for that section will appear. This screen I believe lasts for 120 secs. You can use this time for plugging in your ear plugs or jotting something on your scratch pad! :)
