Consider statement A :
If the truck increases its speed by 10%, it will get there in 5 hours.
Let speed be S and time be T .
If the speed of the truck increases by 10% , we get 1.1*S and since speed is inversely proportional to time , we get 0.9*T
0.9*T = 5
T = 50/9 . Statement A sufficient.
Consider statement B :
The truck will pass a car going 45 miles per an hour.
The above statement is insufficient to get any details of the Truck with respect to time.
Statement B is insufficient.
Therefore the answer is option A .
