HI Brent,

how did you assume rate of both carpenters same??

thats not given in the question that both of them work at same constant rate.
only statement 2 defines that both carpenters have same rate.

I am getting C

Good point, the 2 carpenters might have very sporadic bursts of output along with the occasional nap :-)
Unless we make some stipulation that they work at constant rates, the answer is actually E
