Now the next step - how to motivate yourself for interview process and then how to work off the first term :)

Crossed the fingers for your admittance!

My friend after matriculation woke up at 7 am, had lectures at 8am, 10am, 14pm and went to bed at midnight. All the time between waking and going to bed, he spent in the library, unless it was time for lecture... On second year he sleeps 5 hours daily in October :)

Another episode of stress caused by my recommenders. AT least they'll turn it in on time, but one guy said he liked his original version (with very very bad grammar and hard to understand content) more than the one my friend grammatically edited (the original version would have gotten me dinged because of how unclear the content is). Sigh, I'm just going to stop worry about this and let what happens happen.

One of my 3 Stanford recs did submit today though, so that's good news.

This whole process is making me wonder if I will even get one set of essays and recs done for R2. - I had originally planned on two but am thinking I will go back to one, since both are long shots anyway and I had, till August, only thought of applying to part time programs. Hats off to all of you for doing so many schools together.

I feel your pain Kry. One of my recommenders also did something *really* different in his recc and wasn't willing to change it no matter what. We've given it our honest, sincere best shot. We can just hope for the best. "Our's not to reason why, Our's but to do and die" :)

Submitted 3 so far:
HBS - R1
Wharton - R1
Tuck - EA
Spent whole day yesterday over my Chi GSB app. Ppt is a killer. Took the hard decision to postpone the GSB app till R2. I better have a bulletproof app later than a raw one in R1.
However I checked on the deadlines and decided that 2 weeks is enough to finalize my Ross app for R1. The only bottleneck is recommendations, but heck... it's worth the try!
