As the questions says " Number of fractions " , so integers shudnt be included

so figures for option will be

(i) 2/5, 2/4, 2/3 - 3 nos, since 2/2 and 2/1 are integers
(ii) 2/3, 2/4, 2/5 - 3 nos

total 6

question says "Improper" and "Proper" fractions so we will consider 2/1,2/2 and 6/6 as well

2/1, 2/2, 2/3, 2/4, 2/5
3/6, 4/6, 5/6, 6/6, 7/6, 8/6, 9/6

answer will be 12

For Improper fractions "The numerator is greater than or equal to the denominator" so 6/6 2/2 2/1 will be considered
