agree with pelihu. you need to address the adcom's concerns...
I'd find bullets in your different jobs which show the following:
-analytical ability...especially for non-technical backgrounds
-verbal ability (they actually see this in your essays so I don't think it really matters)
-leadership...especially from technical backgrounds (prove you can lead a person not only computers)
-entreprenurial (what did you start)...from all backgrounds
-teamwork
-innovative thinking/vision
-commitment to improving you/company/society
-personal interest which would excite them...not "reading" or "outdoor activities" but something that is eye catching and unusual. (don't make this up b/c garunteed they will ask about it.)
-managing multiple tasks at once
and again, quantify everything you can so it isn't so generalized.
I'm an engineer so I've worked on 30+ projects but I'm only going to highlight 3 or 4 per company which show my range of abilities. Think
TARGET RESUME which is very different than a switching jobs in the same field.
