One way is to test all values from 0-9, Will be bit lengthy but will give answer, But this technique will not be of use if we are given less than 20 or 30. So we need to understand solution

||x−3|−4|>3
Take |x-3| = y , Now we have
|y-4| >3, For this solution to satisfy we need to have Y >7,
now we reach to equation |x-3 | >7 for how many values of X, less than 10. Which is ZERO as minimum value that can satisfy is 11.
Till now 0 values. But we need to test 0 also, because if y= 0 or x-3 =0, then equation is satisfied.
x- 3 =0 => x=3,
Thus only 1 value satisfy equation i.e 3

||x−3|−4|>3 represents the region in which y=|x - 3| - 4| lies above the line y=3

It's easy to find the intersection points, since the slope of each portion of y=|x - 3| - 4| is 1 or -1 (coefficient of x is |1|) . So you have to add 1 unit in y-coordinates, if you add 1 in x-coordinate (if slope is 1) and you have to deduct 1 unit in y-coordinates, if you add 1 in x-coordinate (if slope is -1).

That was so helpful! Thank you, nick1816. :) Can you please quote some more questions where this method can be applied? Or more sources to read up from. I don't know the name of this method, so i'm not able to look up for questions that employ it.
