Hi,

how many questions can i get wrong to get V45+. Due to poor academics and no extracurriculars i need a high score. I need to know how many questions I can get wrong and still get V45+

While there is no direct & exact correspondence between the scaled score and number of right/wrong questions, I would say one can get maximum of 2-3 questions wrong, for a score of V45+.

At the V45+ level, the scoring becomes pretty steep. On my V48, for example, I only got 1 counted question incorrect. Basically, 1 question dropped my score by 3 points.

Hi desertEagle.

Generally, three counted questions is the max you can miss and score V45+. Of course, you could also miss some experimental verbal questions and score V45+ since experimental questions don't affect your score.

So, one way to view the answer to your question is that you can miss four questions, three counted questions and one experimental question, and score V45+.

There are actually six experimental questions in the verbal section, but since you won't be aware of which questions are experimental, it doesn't make sense to plan to miss them, but it's relatively safe to miss four and hope that one out of the four is experimental.
