How many times can you reschedule your test appointment?

Question

I have already had to reschedule my test appointment twice (Note: that I have already paid the $250+tax and two reschedule fees) and have a feeling that due to my current work load I won't be able to take time off to do the test at the time/date I am allotted for, which means I will have to pay to reschedule again.

So is there a limit on the number of times I can reschedule the test? I would be surprised as this clearly is quite a money-maker for GMAC.

Also, will all these reschedules go on my official record that is released to b-schools? I really hope not since it's not as if I have taken the test, cancelled the results and re-taken!

There is not a limit.

My advice:

Stop rescheduling and take the test. Taking the test twice will not hurt your chances of acceptance.

Just out of curiosity.

I understand that this may depend on each university, but usually in the case of a retake,how does the admission committee calculate the GMAT score.

Do they consider

a) The Higher score of the two.
b) The latest GMAT score
c) The average of two.

You can Reschedule ur exams as many times as u feel like!!! for the above three choices Option A is correct

As far as i know mostly B schools consider Your Highest Score out of all scores .I have gone through many school websites and In their FAQ's it was Highest of all the scores to be considered for their application process.. thanx sandy

Can I cancel or reschedule a GMAT appointment? Yes, and quite a few people do - there is a $50 rescheduling fee if you reschedule more than 7 days out. You will lose the $250 deposit if you decide to reschedule less than 7 days out. You can also apply for a refund as long as your appointment is more than 7 days out. However, you will get only $80 back. In general, if you got cold feet a few days before the test, and feel that you need to reschedule, it may be worth going and taking the test since you won't get any money back. I am looking for a very quick reply. I am an Indian living in Delhi.
Does anyone have any idea about rescheduling fees. I have an Exam on 1 August 2016. Now due to immense work pressure I think I will not be able to make it to the said date. Now the confusion is- From today that is 25 July to 1 Aug is 8 days. The exam is on the 8th day so will I be charged 250$ or 50$.

Hi, what if I cancel the score after completing the test? Cancel in case I don't reach my target score! How much will they charge for taking another test? 
I don't want to average out my scores.

GMAC will charge you full $250 for retaking another test, no matter whether you cancel your previous score.
