I am going to join industry not yet decided which one. I am having 2yrs work exp in tech field so will get good package with that exp. But, as i am planning to go for MBA
in marketing so, i can look for job in marketing if it is going to help in my admission process as package will be less for fresher, else in technical field i am going to get good package and can start for saving for B school. So, should i go for technical or marketing?

It is best if your pre-MBA experience is aligned to what you want to do after your MBA, especially if you are keen on Marketing. Once you get into a technical role, you may fall into the category of an Indian IT Male (IIM) - an over-represented candidate pool for most B-schools.
If marketing interests you, try to enter the field right away, even if your starting salary is low. You could consider social media, digital marketing, market research and many other interesting areas. This way, you will have relevant and interesting pre-MBA experience. Stick around in this industry for 2-3 years and then apply to MBA programs.

Hi, If you have worked in Technology, and have been a part of product development, moving over to product management careers is a picture you can paint. There are many tech companies that offer careers in Product Management and Product marketing management.
I do not have your resume and am not aware of your career progression. So, I won't recommend making strong moves without knowing your background.
Let me also tell you this: What you use in your b-school story may not always resonate with what you end up doing when you get there. It is the exposure that will change your mind.
