I have enough cash to cover most of my expenses but I am bringing my partner too so I will probably pay tuition out of loans the first year and see what kind of job she can land. The second year if all goes well I will pay out of cash so I am looking at about 40k.

I am planning on borrowing the FAFSA amount for both years and using cash for the rest.

Yep, me too. Borrowing FAFSA loans and cash for the rest. My net worth will be zero after 2 years.

Having $50k of student loan debt after business school is pretty good all things considered. I know many who graduate with more than $100k in student loan debt. Obviously you can do a lot before and during school to help keep this number low. Make sure to invest in education programs like a 529 to help pay for your expenses. And while you are in school, avoid the temptation to keep up with the joneses and go on every vacation.
