Hi all,

Not sure if a similar query has been raised, but I do hope some of you may be able to help me with this - Typically, how much time are we given before an offer for an MBA program lapse? Reason I'm asking is because I'm applying for R1 of Boston and results are expected to be out by 16 Dec 11. However, I also plan to apply for other schools where their results will only come out in Feb or Mar. So I'm just worried that there may be some problems with the timing.

Pay the deposit then you have all the time you need :)

It could be tight. Each school publishes the timeline (usually) as to when you have to accept the offer (and sometimes it can be a game of chicken). Good Luck - I hope you end up with 2 offers. Not a bad situation ;)

I usually see that you have to put in the deposit by 1st week of march or so, or a couple of weeks before the school's 2nd round decision deadline. Quite smart this as the school knows before releasing the 2nd round decisions how many R1 applicants are rejecting the admit, so they can maybe make more offers in R2.
