I usually see that you have to put in the deposit by 1st week of march or so, or a couple of weeks before the school's 2nd round decision deadline. Quite smart this as the school knows before releasing the 2nd round decisions how many R1 applicants are rejecting the admit, so they can maybe make more offers in R2.
