Rather than listening to extreme positions (the GMAT is everything or the GMAT is nothing) -- think about it rationally.

As a baseline, the GMAT (or GRE) is one of several components of your applicant story. Ultimately, they're trying to answer a few questions when they're assessing your application:

1. What's your potential to be an impactful leader?
2. What unique perspective and background do you bring to the cohort (your class)?
3. How ready are you to excel in the challenging MBA environment with other high potential business professionals?

1 and 2 represent the positive parts of your application -- 3 represents the "but" - 1 and 2 don't matter if you don't survive / thrive in the program. Having a weak GPA and weak GMAT are big red flags -- remember you're always in competition with other applicants so how does your 1,2,3 package standup against others.

You don't sound very confident of breaking through during the next 4 weeks before your GMAT and it's probably because you don't know exactly WHY you're struggling to reach your target score. Why not get that clarity? We offer a FREE 90 minute diagnostic session live with a GMAT performance coach actively assessing your skills levels and gaps (it's not a diagnostic you take yourself).

It's free. no selling. no obligation. just deep insights into what's holding your GMAT score back. DM if you're interested, we're happy to get you back on an upward trajectory.
