The Quant scoring on the Focus Edition is much tougher than the Quant scoring on the legacy GMAT. You could score Q49 on the legacy GMAT with 8 or more missed questions. The same type of performance on the Focus Edtion will likely get you a score in the 70s. So, your Quant score makes sense.

Regarding the percentiles in Verbal and DI, many people have noticed that strange type of outcome. Meanwhile, your percentiles for some question types are below your overall percentiles. So, the overall percentiles are not completely out of line with the subtopic percentiles.

I think your move is just to keep preparing, working on weaker topics, etc. to get more questions correct and achieve your target score.

Yes i agree with quant score but iam concerned with my verbal and di scores.there is no way i can score below my overall section scores .thereis some glitch .i have not seen a single esr with such statistics yet.

sagarnamo1 - the sub-sectional scores on the GFE are not absolute. They are relative ML estimates and have a much larger standard error baked into them. Moreover, the sub-sectional scores do not penalize you if you leave a question unanswered. How do I know this - the first part was my guess while working on our own mock algo. I tried to come up with subsectional ability estimates and found this discrepancy. This, in turn, was confirmed by the GMAC. The second part is purely from the GMAC. Also, there are many ESRs with such discrepancies. In fact, you can simulate this in official mocks as well.

What your ESR tells you is that your CR is slightly stronger than your RC. Did you make just one mistake in CR? How many mistakes did you make in RC, and at what question numbers.

This is very helpful information. So, leaving any questions blank on the GMAT focus can really crush your score. Also, as you now know you need to click "submit" for the question to count. If you can avoid these mistakes on your next practice exam you'll see an improved score.

But GMAT has punished me almost with 15 to 20 centile in both section .is this normal or an exception? my scores could have been 635 to 645 if that was not the case .

I don't think it's an exception, but when do you plan to take your next practice test?
