Hi,
I agree with BB, its a good first step to start with SC & improve on that first. You should also read some GMAT style literature, it will get you used to the style of language used in GMAT Verbal. A good place to start that is here
https://gmatclub.com/forum/gmat-improve-reading-regurarly-update-216511.htmlFor improving on SC, i suggest start with Aristotle SC grail/
GMAT Club grammar book, as they both begin with very basic grammar stuff, before moving to advanced concepts tested on the GMAT.
GMAT CR requires a good grasp of English comprehension, as GMAT CR is all about details.
Powerscore CR is in my opinion the best for GMAT CR. However its a huge book (300+ pages), so plan at least a couple of weeks for the first read of the book. If you are short on time, i suggest searching for the
Powerscore CR summary on GMAT Club. The summary will be good enough to understand & then practice CR problems.
I suggest after a short preliminary study of grammar & reading practice, you can jump to
Powerscore CR.
Make sure you make your own notes, while doing both the SC & CR study. It is easier to do revisions from notes, rather than going through the whole book again.
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
GyM
