this question is asked many times... GMATPrep is probably the best estimator in the most cases... assuming the CD is the same as the GMATPrep software on mba.com

How representative is GMAT Prep Score CD test of actual GMAT score?


GMATPrep1 and GMATprep2 accurately predict your score... In my case it was -20 . Some had +20 as well

I believe it is quite representative within +- 30 points of the average of both the practice tests. It depends on when you take the test. Most people suggest taking it a week before the actual GMAT test as it gives you the correct momentum going into it.

I would say take it much before the test and guage your performance
This should be done after preparing well enough...Dont take this for regular practice sake.
