How to access specific OG problem online

Question

I am just starting to study with MGMAT and OG 2016. MGMAT often refers to OG problems (i.e. "Data Sufficiency #xx") for practice. So the question is - how do I go directly to each problem using the online OG resources? Do I use the GMATPrep software or the Wiley website (or something else)?

Those MGMAT books are great, among the best resources in print. What DS #26 means will vary greatly from one edition of the OG to the next. Check in the introduction of the MGMAT book to verify which edition of the OG they mean. For the OG13, here's a set of video solutions to the questions: https://gmat.magoosh.com/forum/books/13- ... at-13th-ed My friend, I would highly highly recommend buying the OG for yourself. The official questions are the very best questions in print, and there is no substitute for the OG. If you don't want to pay full price for the newest edition, buy the perfectly fine OG13, which has the exact same questions as the OG2015, and both of these overlap considerably with the most recent edition, the OG2016. I am sure you can find those earlier editions at a cheaper used price. If you don't own some relatively recent copy of the OG, then you are putting yourself at a serious disadvantage compared to almost every other GMAT taker out there. My friend, I don't want to see you do this to yourself. Does all this make sense? Mike :-)

The MGMAT books must have the edition go the OG mentioned along with the problems.
If you want to practice as per the questions given in the MGMAT books, you will have to buy the same edition. Else you can get your hands on a older edition too.

You need the Wiley website. GMATPrep is a separate resource. You can make a session (check the box for DS) with "All" checked. Quit after the test starts, and then you can go to any question you want from the "Results" screen. Unfortunately, the explanation will also be shown to you, so you have to (quickly!) hit the close button on the explanation. But... I hope someone here knows a better way

A slightly different point: I'd strongly advise you not to solve questions like this, unless you are revising. One of the easiest ways to reduce the difficulty of a question (and therefore its usefulness) is to tell the test taker the topic(s) the question is trying to test. Why not solve it "blind"?

Thanks for all of the responses. To clarify, I did buy the OG (2016), but as an e-book. Now I am trying to figure out how to jump to specific OG questions in the GMATPrep software or elsewhere online (preferably without seeing the answer like mentioned above). In other words, if MGMAT says to do DS #20, then DS #200, I am looking for a way to quickly jump from one to the other. Does anyone know how to do this?

Also, how do you get the activation code from an OG e-book to get the content on GMATPrep?

The OG will not give you any GMATPrep resources. You can get the basic (free) GMATPrep install package  here . You can add Question pack 1 ($30) and Exam pack 1 ($50) to extend GMATPrep. Both are excellent resources, but they are not included in any OG (electronic or physical).
