Hi priyankagh,

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) Have you taken any other CATs besides this most recent one? On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) What Schools are you planning to apply to - and what specific application deadlines are you facing?
5) If you do not score at least a 670, then will you still apply at this time or will you push back your applications?

I recently took a GMATPrep official mock and scored a mere 600- Q41 and V31. My confidence in quants is very low in general and I hadn't practiced much before taking the mock. However, I've invested months of studying into both quants and verbal, undeniably more in verbal. I am less intimidated by verbal questions but scoring only a 31 has demotivated me a little. I need at least a 670 for the schools I'm aiming for and to be honest, I will be quite intent with scoring just that. Can someone please tell me how to increase my raw score in Quants and Verbal by 5 points each? I don't have much time left for application deadlines so I cannot invest anymore than a month for preparation. Any sort of guidance will be appreciated, thank you.

Hi priyankagh,

You can find these helpful:

Check out how Rishabh improved his score from 670 to 740 in just 20 days and got an admit from INSEAD

You can also check out how Nishant improved from V31 to V41 in a month's time and scored a GMAT 720

Feel free to reach out if you need any help with the improvement strategies. Would be happy to help!
