"What is your question, I dont get it. You will get notified that they received the scores so you dont need to contact them about that. Are you applying to schools during R3?"

Yes, I am applying in R3. My question is: What is the procedure for applying to schools, selected during the gmat test?

Sandy.. the B School app is different from Med School. The school doesnt get back to you for a secondary application after scores are sent.
Go to the website and check out their application requirements and deadlines. Most ask for 3-4 questions, recommendations, GMAT scores (which you have already sent), TOEFL (if non US student), and transcripts.

If you are planning to apply for Fall '09, then hang around the forum to get an idea of the whole app process. Its pretty taxing.

Good Luck

I am applying for Fall 08.

It varies from school to school. Check each school's admissions website for instructions and applications. The schools don't necessarily do anything. You have to complete a bunch of forms, essays, recommendations, etc.

The schools websites now all have online applications you have to use. Its a little late to read up on it now but there are some great books available that would really be helpful. Remember R3 is the most difficult round and apps even if they are rushed will take about a month to get done...many of us spent two to three months on our applications. Especially if you are doing 5 schools.

Where are you applying, we might be able to give more accurate information for you if we know where you are applying.
