Hi btgsnt,
There are specific type of questions that are asked on the GMAT. Broadly classified into:
1. Conclusion
2. Strengthen
3. Weaken
4. Assumption
5. Bold Face and so on..
Once you see the question, make sure you read the question stem first and identify the type of the question. Now read the given information in the light of the question.
This might help you in solving the question.
Initially you might face problems, but with practice, things would definitely become better.
1. Are you following any preparatory course/book for building the concepts?
2. Since when are you studying for the GMAT?
3. When do you plan to take the GMAT?

You've mentioned how CR is difficult for you, but it's not clear what work you've done (other than try to answer some CR questions in the OG). Thus, it's likely that you'll improve once you've invested a bit more time into learning the Tactics, patterns and logic behind CR. Before I can offer any specific advice, I'd like to know a bit more about your studies overall:
1) How long have you been studying for the GMAT?
2) What materials have you been using?
3) How comfortable are you with the overall Verbal section (including SC and RC)?
4) What is your goal score?
5) How have you scored on your practice CATs (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores)?
6) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
