Hi fellow test takers,
Could someone share some strategies on how to build confidence in maths. I will be writing my test in 2 weeks time, and although I have read all concepts and practised PS & DS from both GMATclub and OGs my scores are not improving at all and I have started to lose confidence.
I am at loss of ideas on how to magically build my confidence and that it is still doable. i am relatively a lot better at verbal.
Any tips to keep one motivated will be very helpful. Thanks.
It's good that you've recognized confidence as an issue affecting your Quant performance. You're most likely right about that. People who are confident in their ability to improve their math performance are more likely to improve, while people who write themselves off as "bad at math" are less likely to improve. Are you doing sets of practice problems using a timer? Are you reviewing old problems you've already done? What does your analysis of your practice tests say - are there specific areas in Quant you're especially weak at?
