Does anyone have any tips on how to study with a friend? i.e. best practices, study routines, etc?
I'm usually a self study type of guy, but I am taking lunch breaks with a coworker to group study with him twice per week (~1hour per session).
FYI, we both plan on taking the gmat in ~3 months from now and are just starting our studying. He has taken the test once or twice before, I have never, but I have read quite a bit of forum posts about the test and have taken the math practice test (I think I did ok, seeing as I ran out of time with like 7 questions to go, haven't taken or practiced math for like 5 years, and I somehow still got a 46). So in short, while we are just starting our studying, we're not exactly going in from ground zero either.
Also, I have the newest OG guide and the
MGMAT complete series. I plan on reading them all, and studying for ~20hours a week for the next 3 months until test time.
Target score for me is the 700+ range (hopefully 720-750).
Any tips or advice on how to group study would be super appreciated.
