Many students scoring at this level are very weak with math basics. The major difference between Q20’s-34 and Q35-42 is basic math skills.
Please always remember the principle of "Slow, Hand, Detail".
☞ Solve "Slowly" when you study and practice.
☞ Solve the problems by "Hand" as a rule. Understanding how the problems are solved in videos is very different from actually
☞ Solve them on paper yourself. So, practice by solving the problems by hand-writing them is very important after you have studied with the videos.When you solve them, write a "Detailed" calculation process without skipping any steps. This is also important.
☞ If you don’t follow the above advice, you will have a difficult time improving your GMAT math skills and scores. If you are not strong in basic math skills, your PS won’t be good. If your PS isn't good, you will have a difficult time in establishing equations in DS. So, your DS would not be good either.
How to score between Q45-49
☞ Enroll in “Math Revolution All-In-One course”. Sorry, a 1-month course is too short to improve.
☞ Follow the "Slow, Hand, Detail" advice mentioned above. This is a very important principle and habit that you have to keep in mind at all times.
☞ Build your math basics with our "Math Review" (5-hour lesson). These videos are for reviewing basic math including arithmetic, algebra, geometry and word problems. At your level, you need to go over these videos twice. We are sure that you can strengthen your basic math skills. However, we suggest you refer to these videos any time you need to refresh and master the basics.
In addition, we have free video lessons for math basics. Please refer to “Must-Know Formula” and “Must-Know Math Basics”. Click
These videos can help but they are not comprehensive enough to fully strengthen your basic math skills. “Math Review” videos in our paid course will provide you with more confidence in mastering math basics.

If you learn the Variable Approach for DS which saves time significantly, is very unique, and very different from conventional ways of solving equations, you can easily achieve a score of 45 and above. Just trust and learn the Variable Approach. Basic math skills are necessary, but more importantly, a command of logical skills is required.
☞ Your study order is Math Review --> DS+PS --> Introductory --> Basic --> OG --> Advanced --> Practice Test --> Special Question Pack.
