Hi,
I wanted to understand how to identify if a word is an adjective or adverb ?
Ex: The company needs to move quick.
Here quick is an adjective as stated in foundation of verbal guide.
And we need to use quickly ( and adverb)
So how to identify if a word is adjective or adverb in such cases.
Main questions :
Apart from -ly ending,any logical way to identify adverbs?
How to remember those adjectives which end in -ly but are not adverbs !

You should check what is quick modifying. Its modifying verb hence the correct adverb form of quick is quickly
difficult for non native speakers(such as me) to identify it . but one can always check forms in case of confusion

Adjectives modify noun or pronoun only, rest all modifier are adverbs
