Dear ShreyaThakur03,
I share the view of nislam that the online course will be valuable option. Merely my two cents, I would suggest to try TTP course because its well organized study plan and unique approach already have helped me to ameliorate my Quant score. You can check the reviews of various top platforms to decide which one meets you requirements.

Hi ShreyaThakur03,

There are a variety of factors that can impact your performance on a CAT/mock, including the type of Exam that you're using, the time of day that you start the Exam, the testing conditions, how well-rested you are, the section-order, etc. - meaning that your current 'ability level' might be higher or lower than this 660 that you are referencing. By extension, it might take more than another 15-20 days of study for you to get to the point that you can consistently score 700+

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

Studies:
1) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far? What “brands” of CATs/mocks have you used?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
4) Is your overall goal score 700 or something else?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

Hi ,
I am currently getting a 660 in Expert's Global Mock Tests with Q44 V35 .
Can you please guide me to reach 700+ score from 660 in 15-20 days and how to improve my Quant and Verbal Sections ?

I am getting consistently a score of Q44 and it is has reached stagnancy.

Hi Shreya,

Improving from 660 to 700+ is certainly possible if you focus on spending your energy in the right direction. However, before I guide you on the next steps a few suggestions from my side.

    1. Do take up an official mock test to validate your current Verbal score as sometimes the Verbal question quality can be very different in reality.
    2. I just see one mock score over here, which in my opinion is not enough to identify one's skill level. It seems like you have taken more mocks as you have mentioned something regarding reaching stagnancy around Q44, so I would request you to share the other mock scores too (at least the ones taken in last 1 month)

Now how do you strategize from here. I'm sharing some improvement strategies in short below, but for a more detailed discussion you can schedule a one on one call with us using this link: https://www.calendly.com/gmatwhiz/30min

Verbal Improvement Strategy

Currently it seems like you're consistent in one area out of SC, CR and RC and very inconsistent with the other 2. Generally this indicates that the method you're using to solve questions from the weak areas is not fine-tuned properly. Hence, I recommend you to work on the methods there so that you can improve your performance.

Also, look for specific concepts in which your score is less than 60% and work on revising these concepts and practice questions from here.

Quant Improvement Strategy

In Quant, you have 2 broad areas of improvement
    1. In around 3-4 topics you tend to get the easy and medium questions wrong. These are low hanging fruits. Try to focus your attention here first and develop the skill to get at least the easy and medium questions right consistently.
    2. In many topics, the method you're using to solve questions isn't correct. Here, you need to change your approach.

Hi ,
Thank you for your valuable reply , and coming to your questions :
STUDIES:
1.I started my studies in Feb 2022 but i halted in March 2022 due to some personal issues , till then i had gone through all the basics of Quant and SC and had made noted for the same. I then again started my main preparation from 1st June'22 . I study for 3-4 hrs on weekdays as i have a full time job as well and may be 5-6 hrs on weekends .
2. I have used Expert's Global Study materials and their videos for both Quant and Verbal. For Mocks i have used Expert's Global .
3. i have given 4 mocks till now:
a) 5th June'22 -> 570 (Q38 V31)
b) 9th june'22 -> 450 (Q44 V8) i don't know how this happened , i think i was half asleep while giving the test .
c)13th june'22 -> 650 (Q44 V35)
d)19th june'22 -> 660 (Q44 V36)

GOALS:
4. Yes, my desired score is 710+
5. I want to apply in the Round 1 i.e Sept'22 . I have not yet shortlisted schools as my prime focus is getting a decent score for now.

Hi Piyush,
Below are 4 the Mock Tests that i took from Expert's Global website . I haven't yet taken any official CAT .
    5th June'22 -> 570 (Q38 V31)
    9th june'22 -> 450 (Q44 V8) -i don't know how this happened , i think i was half asleep while giving the test as it was quite early in the morning.
    13th june'22 -> 650 (Q44 V35)
    19th june'22 -> 660 (Q44 V36)

In Verbal My SC is fine but CR and RC always tend to fluctuate , if i have practiced CR/ RC for few days and then take a test then it turns out decent else it's a disaster. Also towards the end of the test i am not left with enough time so i have to blindly mark the answers and submit , this issue is with both quant and verbal.
