Hi there,
I have struggled with medium and hard level SC questions. When I face these questions it takes me around 3 to 4 minutes. But when I wish to make it fast within 1 minute and 30 seconds, I make some mistakes that I will never do if I take time.
Can anyone provide me any suggestion to improve on this issue?

One important tip I give to students is never time yourself during the learning stage. I main focus while learning the methodology is to get the answer right. Once you practice a considerable number of questions using the methodology, then you can start taking timed quizzes and focus on the time constraint. Having said that, make sure you are following the right methodology to solve SC questions. Let me brief that to you.
There is a common misconception that knowing grammatical rules will help you solve SC questions. But SC questions on GMAT test your ability to convey the intended meaning without any ambiguity. So, it is important to approach SC questions from a meaning stand-point. Because you will often come across answer choices which are grammatically correct and convey a logical meaning but are indeed incorrect. So, it is important to understand the intended meaning the original sentence is trying to convey and then eliminate choices which do not convey the intended meaning or which are grammatically incorrect.
I recommend you to focus on the meaning while solving SC questions. You might take a little more time to solve during the initial stages, but don't worry about that. Once you practice a few questions, time will automatically fall into place.. Hope it helped. Feel free to write back if you have any more concerns. All the best

You need to have a solid grammar base + meaning clarity to score well at SC, ask yourself why are you missing the questions:
Is it because of a grammar rule you did not know? is it because you did not get the meaning?
