Can you please suggest a course of study for someone who is naturally good in the verbal section but hasn't spent a single minute studying for it? I recently sat for my first real GMAT and scored a 41V. I am retaking the gmat in 3 weeks because I want to raise my 48Q to 50Q. As previously mentioned, I have not spent a single minute preparing for the verbal section but was able to score 40+ on a consistent basis (numerous practice tests + the real gmat). I currently choose my answers based on whether they sound good/natural to me. This method works extremely well for me as evidenced by my past performance, however, I feel that I could bring up my 41V to around 45 if I spent a couple of days going over some verbal prep material and "formalizing" my process. I was thinking of going over all of the
Manhattan GMAT books on the verbal section to get an idea of how they apply this "formal" method to answering questions. Do you think there is a better way of doing this? Also, how much do you think I will be able to improve my score by just reading through these books by
MGMAT?
