Hi mysterygirl,
Are the gmat prep scores from the default software engine package where you have taken your practice tests couple of months back? If yes, then probably your verbal scores are inflated as you might encounter some questions which you already know on top of your head. You could have tried gmat exam pack1 for assessing the true score range on your real exam. I am sorry to hear your disappointment that your score went down from 36 to 28, but you should know the answer and in fact its you can only assess what went wrong on exam day especially for verbal.
I am still not able to break the barricade the 25 and I have exam in a week, your help on the perspective in regards to your first attempt what strategies made your verbal score to get above 30 would be much appreciated.
thank you
krishna.
Hi,
Concentrate on solving questions on the following areas:
- SC: Work on parallelism
- CR: Strengthen, Weaken, Assumption and Evaluate questions
- RC: Solve minimum 3 passages every day
Hope this helps. Good luck for your exam.
