I scored 49 q in my gmat attempt. And in my gmatpreps i scored between 49/50 q. In my case, time was the problem, i was able to do really well during my 25-28 questions but the last questions i had to guess due to time trouble. The best way to avoid time troubles would be memorizing as much formulas as you can and practicing a lot.
Remember you can get 32/37 questions right and still get 51 on your q!
Furthermore gmatclub questions are much harder than the real gmat questions!
Wish you all the best!! And try to ace the gmat :-D

In my opinion, the best resource for hard math is Kaplan. So I would suggest you buy one of them.
On the other hand, it seems that GMAT Club math tests are harder than average, so indeed, that would be a good tool.
Let us know what you decide.
Cheers

1. Focus most of your prep on weak areas until your hit ratio goes significantly up there. [Accuracy]
2. Complete the quant section no matter what. [Time management]
3. Avoid guesses or atleast minimize them to 1/2 Qs. [Knowledge of/Experience with tough Qs, Time management]

Very dumb question here - but how do you get a 51 if there are only 37 questions...?

Well, in theory you can get up to 60... But scores never reach numbers over 51.
The Quant score is calculated according to the number of questions you get right, and the level of each one. You can imagine that easy questions account for 0,5 points, medium ones for1 point , and hard ones for 2 (that is just an example, I have no idea how they actually do it, it is just to show how it could be done).
