If you have sufficient time, I would highly recommend taking
Prof. Benjamin's course on Mental Maths. It really helped me overcome my fear of working with large numbers.
In general, the more you practice, the more comfortable you'll become.
All the best with your prep!

I've recently begun my prep with TTP and I've found that a lot of questions that look super difficult can often be solved using a simple trick. In many cases, I know these tricks in the back of my head but when I come across such a difficult-looking question, I end up getting startled and forget to apply the trick. For instance, I often forget to use strategic numbers in multiplications that look daunting (i.e. 14590 x 27 is actually pretty close to 15000 x 30). Similarly, I forget to solve complex-looking wordy algebra equations using the matrix method. I understand that I'll improve as I keep practicing but is there a way to get rid of this fear of questions that look intimidating?
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
