In verbal I was able to reach question no 30 and in quants i was able to reach question number 24.

Kindly suggest how to tackle this issue.
Some questions must have taken longer than others. These questions must have been questions you found more difficult, questions with which you were struggling.

What you need to do: Abandon such questions quickly, rather than allowing them to suck up time. Make an educated guess and move on.

Missing harder questions will have less effect on your score; missing easier questions or leaving questions unanswered will reduce your score more.

As you practise more, as your skills and efficiency increase, you will need to abandon fewer questions. But even top scorers must be prepared to abandon questions at times.
