Before writing your application, consider factors such as:
1. Bucket list of schools to increase your odds of success (‘safety’, ‘reach’ and ‘aspirational’ schools)
2. Number of schools to apply to
3. Your commitment to go the school next year
4. Critical factors such as finances, professional and family commitments
5. 2 year vs 1 year, full time vs part time MBA program

While researching for your essay, you want to look at the following factors:

1. What is the college known for (reputation score)?
2. Is the location conducive to me?
3. Which specializations are available?
4. What is the rigor of curriculum? (degree of flexibility?)
5. Lecture vs case-based pedagogy?
6. Big vs small class size?
7. What is the strength of career center and Recruitment opportunities?
8. Who are the eminent professors and alumni?
9 .Investment in infrastructure/Facilities?

This should set you in the right direction!
