Its being around 3 weeks since I have started preparing for GMAT. I started with MGMAT Guides for the Quant preparation and I am still not feeling confident on Geometry, Combinations, Probabilty and Number Theory. From where I should study all these topics? Can I study these topics from Arun Sharma's Quantitative Aptitude for CAT? Also, I am very confused about how should I prepare for the overall GMAT quant?
Many Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) on their studies before they hit their 'peak' scores, so it's likely that you have not put in enough time and effort yet.
1) Have you taken any FULL-LENGTH CATs yet? How have you scored (including the Essay and IR sections)? 2) What is your overall score goal? 3) When are you planning to take the GMAT?

I haven't given any full-length mock yet, I did gave one Veritas quant mock and my score was 43. My target score is 730+ and I am planning to take GMAT in March 2016.
In general, a Q43 means that you're pretty good at most of the 'math questions' that you'll see on the GMAT, but you're missing out on a lot of the 'strategy-based' points. Unfortunately, if that score came from an isolated Quant section (without taking the Essay and IR sections first), then that score is likely 'inflated' and not accurate. There are a variety of skills that you have to hone before you take the Official GMAT and that requires taking FULL-LENGTH CATs (including the Essay and IR sections) under realistic conditions and at regular intervals. As such, I highly recommend that you take a FULL CAT sometime soon (perhaps this weekend) and report back here with your score results. That data will help to define what you need to be working on as you continue to study.

Indian CAT and GMAT are two very different exams. The questions on CAT are a lot more difficult, so I would not advise you to solve questions from those books. Regarding the concepts, yes the book can be useful. Still i would suggest you to stick to a GMAT preparatory course.
Most of the companies including ours offer a 3 day free trial for the course offerings. You can go through the course and see if it suits your needs. Have you gone through all the chapters of the MGMAT guides?

Yes I did go through all the MGMAT books and I liked it also but it I think few topics are not upto the mark in these guides. I am still struggling with Combinations, Probability. Surely I will go through the CAT books to atleast learn the concepts and then will pick up OG for the practise.
You've mentioned Combinations and Probability as two categories that you're currently having trouble with, but those categories are relatively rare on the Official GMAT (relative to the larger categories that appear in the Quant) and they are NOT what you need to focus on right now to significantly increase your Quant Scaled Score. With a Q43, there are more important areas to work on.

A score of Q 43 suggests that there are other areas that need improvement apart from these two. Go back to the mock analysis and identify the areas in which you get the questions wrong.
First of all identify the type of question: PS or DS Then drill down to areas such as algebra, number system, geometry etc.
