Hi guys,
I just started preparing for my MBA application for 2012 fall and I am working on GMAT now. I have a business trip to Boston tomorrow and I just found that hbs has info session and campus tour every Monday, so I would like to take advantage of that.
I am wondering how should I prepare for that? What kind of attire should I wear?
Will I be able to meet people who actually make admission decisions?
Thanks,
Tz
Prepare by doing your basic homework on the school. If you're gonna ask questions of the people giving the info sessions and tours, it better not be something readily available like "what's your average GMAT score" or anything lame like that. Besides that, try to find out something unique or specific that you're interested in that you may be able to incorporate into an essay if you so choose. As for what to wear, business casual is a good bet for info sessions. I'm not sure how hot it is so I'm sure you'll have to take that into consideration if the tour is outside.
The adcoms should be the ones giving the presentations and probably students or their assistants would be giving the tours.
