Campus visits are extraordinarily helpful! Here are my recommendations to make the most out of your likely expensive and time-consuming trip:

1) Don't go during the summer. There aren't any students there and the whole point is to meet students.
2) Schedule meetings with current students. Know which clubs you're interested in joining and seek out those student leaders.
3) Learn the lingo. What do they call 1st year vs. 2nd year students? What are the popular electives? Who are the popular professors?
