Thanks all for your reply. Please find my answers as below-
EMPOWERgmatRichC
1)My first preference is ISB (India) and some other top ranked colleges such as Nanyang etc. (Except ISB, I am not very much sure about the list of colleges in which I want to apply).
2) Most of them have their deadline in mid January.

Yes, I agree managing time is something very important for me. To answer your question there was very less time left at the end of my test in verbal section. Almost 18 minutes left for last 15 questions. After that I panicked and couldn't concentrate much on any of the question. However, quant section i was able to complete with 10-15 minutes left on the screen. I tried to keep the chart 9 minutes for every 5 question. but between 12-18 questions I took so much time that led to this poor score.

Additional Info-
I have around 3 years of work experience and I belong to Indian IT male category with decent academics. (graduation from NIT.)

Please guide me how should I proceed with my prep.
Thanks In Advance!!! :-D

I think you're already aware what having only 18 minutes for 15 questions can lead to :)

Keep yourself on track throughout the test. The advantages of giving extra time to some questions in the middle really don't outweigh the disadvantages of getting a large number of questions wrong towards the end (the most likely outcome).

Thanks for your reply. I am looking for the resources that I should use to get a better score. I have planned following things. Please let me know your suggestions-
1. Going through Manhattan SC again in depth
2. Power Score and Aristotle CR to reduce my time by practicing question (Pre thinking strategy)

I am not sure about Sentence Correction. From where should I practice so that I can solve question in less time. Please suggest some source to practice RC questions also. Any kind of help is really appreciated.

Hi mayankgupta01,

Pacing problems don't exist on their own - they're the result of OTHER problems. In real basic terms, 'your way' of dealing with the Verbal section takes too much time, so you have to make some adjustments. To pick up those missing Verbal points, you're likely going to need to invest in some new resources and learn/practice some new Verbal Tactics.

1) How much time do you think you can spend on your studies during a typical week?
2) Have you scheduled your next GMAT appointment yet?

Hi mayankgupta01,

Since the 'book-heavy' approach you've used has likely gotten you 'stuck' at this level, I don't think that studying with MORE books is necessarily going to improve your situation. Even the best books are limited in what they can teach you; they also can't force you to approach questions in a certain way and their explanations are often one-sided. I think that you've given yourself plenty of future time to improve; you just have to make sure that you're using the proper resources.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
