Hi Experts
I have a question for all the member :
One thing I did not perform during my 1st attempt was to review the questions that I have practised on various forums or
OG.
I am trying to overcome that in this attempt, but it gets very boring and I am not sure what should be your frequecy to review the questions.
Like If I did any question today and got it wrong, then should I review it tomorrow again or after a week.
Can anybody give me an solid strategy on how to review verbal sections.
Dear
282552,
I'm happy to help.
First of all, here's a blog article you will find helpful:
Studying for the GMAT: Learning from Your MistakesAs for your specific question, I would say: for each and every question you get wrong (and even for questions you got right when you were not 100% certain), review the questions as soon as you are done with the practice. As I advocate in that blog article, keep an error lot. Write down what you were thinking when you did the problem, what you forgot, what you didn't notice, what you simply didn't know, the nature of your mistake, and what you need to learn from this question. Make sure to write all that down in full GMAT-quality sentences. By writing everything down in detail, you will enormously reinforce what you are learning. Then, put that question aside and look at it, say a week or two later, and if you don't own it at that point, write more about it, and repeat until you own it.
Does all this make sense?
Mike
