Hi GIRISHSVVS,

In addition to the books you choose, the GMAT is an event you can train for, especially in sentence correction. To avoid plateauing with a book-heavy approach, consider online resources that will teach you test-taking strategies you'll find useful on test day. Most online resources offer free trials to allow you to determine what works best for you, so take advantage and experiment with a number of different products.

That being said, here's a link to try Economist GMAT Tutor for 7 days. The adaptive technology included will tailor a study plan that will suit your specific needs: https://bit.ly/1BMoyvJ

Best,
Rich

GIRISHSVVS -

One thing to remember is that even the SC section requires good reasoning. We inherently are better at determining if "something" in a sentence is not right, than we are in determining specifically is not correct. Thus, we can weigh and measure the various answer choices and reason our way to the correct answer. For example, in a sentence which has used an incorrect verb tense, you can scan the answer choices to see the differences. In this case, you can then focus on whether, say the sentence should use have rather than had. You can then eliminate the answer choices that include "had". Next, you will determine the differneces between the answer choices using the correct verb tense, "have" and eliminate those that include errors. Finally, once you have narrowed the answer choices to one or two, re-read the sentence using each answer choice and check to ensure the sentence makes sense.
