In this post, let’s understand how to approach the Contribution Essay.
1. The Contribution Essay provides an ideal platform to share the highlights of one’s personality in personal, academic, and professional spheres. It can also represent the candidate’s potential to effectively participate in experiential and collaborative learning as well as class discussions to add value to the school’s ecosystem.
2. Showcase leadership skills, varied cross-cultural exposure, experience of having worked with teams consisting of members from diverse professional, cultural, or national background, passionate involvement in causes through community service, and organizational skills through compelling examples.
3. Narrow down on the talking points of your career and list the corresponding qualities and traits that have furthered these achievements. Study the school’s website and identify the Student Clubs or Community Programs in which you can actively participate.
4. In the first paragraph, briefly introduce the contribution points. In the following paragraphs, devote one paragraph each to each of the qualities you wish to portray. The concluding paragraph must be passionate and enthusiastic.
