I've taken the gmat prep test twice (re-install for second time), and I've taken the mgmat CAT test (free one).
I've noticed that the reading comprehension seems to be very different between the two. When I took the gmat prep test I was able to get every RC question correct except one. With the mgmat CAT test, I was getting 4-5 wrong. ironically my overall score still ends up being about the same at 40. (yes my quant is much lower on mgmat than on the gmat prep, but that is a known phenomenon)
When I was looking at the problems I got wrong, i noticed immediately that the mgmat CAT test included a lot of questions that focused on more minute details of the passage. For example, i got at least 3 questions that could be answered with a single sentence in the passage without even reading the rest of the passage. When I first did the gmat prep test, I read the passage slowly once, and was able to answer all the questions without having to refer back to the passage unless there was a line reference. In other words, all the questions focused on the main idea of the passage, the author's intent, etc.
Can anyone who has taken the real gmat, or anyone that has a clue any flaws in the mgmat cat test provide some insight on this? I'd like to avoid doing problems (and spending lots of time checking and understanding answers) that aren't indicative of those on the real test.

Kudos for the link. I'll be taking the MGMAT CATs soon and this is good to know.
