When we are given two ratios between 3 items, it is important to reconcile them into one ratio.
Here, for Hulk
The ratio between Sour : Chocolate : Sweet = 20:15:8
We also know, that, for Thanos，the ratio between Sour : Chocolate = 6:1
Possible numbers of chocolate candies in Hulk's basket are 15, 30, etc.
15 is possible when
Hulk has 20 sour candies AND Thanos has 24 sour candies. (Total 44)
30 is possible when
Hulk has 40 sour candies AND Thanos has 6 sour candies (Total 46)
The answer is thus (C).
Here, for Hulk
The ratio between Sour : Chocolate : Sweet = 20:15:8
We also know, that, for Thanos，the ratio between Sour : Chocolate = 6:1

We need a multiple of 3, so II is not possible, which means B, D, and E are out. A and C both have I. We only need to check III.
If Hulk has 30 chocolates, he has 40 sours. That means Thanos could have 6 sours and 1 chocolate. III works.
Answer choice C.
