I don't think either of these programs will guarantee you a position in Gaming industry... Heck, even an MBA from a top 10 school won't - it is a very competitive industry and it will require getting an internship with a further potential placement.
Game industry is mostly So Cal and SF (various companies). I would recommend that you check what schools they hire from using Linked in and other tools or by looking at their internship programs. They may have a few established already and getting into Zynga or EA or Blizzard may take a serious effort.
P.S. If you get an MBA from a school that does not require a rigorous exam, you have to be careful to make sure you are signing for a competitive program rather than one that just mints graduates for a fee - that rarely results into intended final result.
Good luck!
Thank you very much for your helpful and honest answer. For networking fortunately, since I have been working in the game industry for more than a year now, I do have a few connections which can help me connect with some of the game companies located in California. For the school one, in terms of Hult (as you mentioned in your PS about the MBA), I will take note on that...What about the MS degree in Global Business from Pepperdine though? What do you think about this?
Best,
