I choose B!
How can E be the right answer? which clearly refers to meat, when it shoudl have referred to clothing!

I think it is 'B'.

but I think, in 'B', 'for' is needed before clothing.

C),D) and E) are wrong b/c the modifier is misplaced. b/w A) and B) ? the idiom is "not so much x as y". B) as well as A) violate the idiom. maybe there is a typo in B) ? but on examday i would have chosen B) !

I don't think OA is correct.

not for ...... but for..... is the proper structure.

B is missing that.

so B cannot be correct.
